BLOW GLOBE, winner of the Chamber Music America New Jazz Works Grant 2024, is a ten-person ensemble that melds the sonorities of instrumental jazz and classical with the ethos of contemporary electronic and songwriter musics. Led by Juilliard-trained drummer and composer John Sturino, the band features a unique instrumentation that packs the breadth of an entire wind orchestra into a tight ten-person unit.
