Brendon Wilkins Organ Trio
Commited to furthering the swinging jazz organ trio tradition, tenor saxophonist Brendon Wilkins is joined by Hammond B3 organist Henry Dickhoff and drummer Hank Allen-Barfield to form the Brendon Wilkins Organ Trio. The group centers their style on the repertoire composed and made famous by Stanley Turrentine, Shirley Scott, and Jimmy Smith. The Hammond B3 organ has been an integral part of the jazz tradition and is tied to the signature sound of these three musicians.
